Steve Smith leads Australia to big win
Australia have wrapped up the series against the West Indies by taking a 2-0 lead after a masterclass of batting in the first innings saw four players pick up centuries. Joe Burns, Usman Khawaja, Steve Smith and Adam Voges all got into 3 figures as Australia piled on 552-3 in there first innings. The side from the Caribbean never recovered being bowled out for 271 as James Pattison and Nathan Lyon took four wickets each.
Australia did not enforce the following on hitting a quickfire 179-3 before declaring with Smith scoring another excellent 70 not out, ensuring he hit over 200 runs in the two innings being not out on both occasions. Jason Holder and Denesh Ramdin got half centuries in the second innings but the target was too much with Australia winning by 177 runs and sealing the series with a game to spare as a result.
