Ojo magic sees off brave Exeter
LIVERPOOL 3 EXETER CITY 0
Liverpool face a home tie with West Ham after easing past Exeter City at the second attempt at Anfield. The home side got off to a great start as a swift passing move saw Brad Smith pull the ball back for Joe Allen to score. Liverpool dominated the vast majority of the game but Exeter defended very well and it took until 15 minutes from time for Liverpool to seal it after substitute Sheyi Ojo added some extra energy and it was he who got the second goal with a wonderful lob over the goalkeeper from the edge of the area. Christian Benteke, who missed a number of chances himself and who looked laboured at times, did set up Joao Teixeira to get his first goal for the club to add a third. Liverpool could have had a number more but will be relieved to get this out of the way after coming close to going out in the first game.
