England turned around the third test at Edgbaston to take a 2-1 lead over Pakistan. Moeen Ali lead the fightback with 86 in a second innings in which five players hit half centuries as England scored 445 before declaring to put themselves right back in the match. The match was effectively sealed when Pakistan lost four wickets for just one run, including Steven Finn taking the key wicket of Sami Aslam whose 70 had threatened to put Pakistan in with a shout.
