West Indies were always chasing the game in ST Lucia as Inida secured the series win with one match to spare. Centuries from Ravichandran Ashwin (118) and Wriddhiman Saha (104) set India up to put 353 on the board. A superb spell from Bhuvneshwar Kumar taking 5 wickets restricted West Indies reply to 225 with Kriagg Braitwiate top scoring with 64. A 78 Not Out from Ajinkya Rahane took the game away from the home side, who unlike in the second test came nowhere near surviving for a draw this time. Inida bowled them out for a mere 108 with with 3 wickets from Mohammad Shami to seal a comfortable win and deserved series victory.
