4th Test Match – England v Pakistan

England failed to win their home series with Pakistan as the visitors fought back at the Oval in the final match to earn a 2-2 draw. England began well enough putting 328 on the board with 108 for Moeen Ali. However a brilliant knock of 218 from Younis Khan set Pakistan up to post a huge 542, Asad Shafiq backed up Kahn with 109.England struggled in the second innings with Asad Shah taking 5 wickets and Jonny Bairstow’s 81 the only score of note leaving Pakistan a target of just 42. Azhar Ali (30) and Sami Aslam (12) got them home with the loss of single wicket to coast to a 10 Wicket victory to end the series on a high going into the one day games.
