ODI Game 3 – Sri Lanka v Australia
There was no fairytale ending for Tillakaratne Dilshan who was playing his final one day game for Sri Lanka. Dinesh Chandimal did his best to put Sri Lanka in the mix with a superb 102 on a slow wicket, however there was little support with Adam Zampa taking three wickets. Sri Lanka posted 226 and Australia never looked in trouble in their reply. George Bailey top scored with 70 supported by Mathew Wade (42) and Travis Head (36). The middle order set up John Hastings and Adam Zampa to take Australia home with a full four overs left. Signs Australia are finally coming to terms with the conditions after a poor test series, they lead the 5 game ODI series 2-1.
