Latham century puts the game away

Tom Latham’s 131 including 4 sixes was the key as New Zealand comfortably scored a 77 run win over Bangladesh in Christchurch, Colin Muro also contributed with 87. In reply both Shakib Al Hasan and Mosaddek Hossain Saikat got half centuries but neither could stay in long enough to threaten as James Neesham took 3 wickets to help New Zealand home with ease.

ODI Game 2 – New Zealand v Bangladesh

Williamson spell delivers the win in low scoring game in Nelson

On a tough pitch to score on Neil Broom’s 109 and a fine spell of 3-22 by Kane Williamson was the key difference to help New Zealand claim their series win against Bangladesh with a game to go. New Zealand could only put 250 on the board but tight bowling ensurined Bangladesh never came near claiming victory and Williamson’s three wickets at key moments stopped the tourists from building any momentum. New Zeland claim the win by 66 runs.

ODI Game 3 – New Zealand v Bangladesh

Broom and Williamson ease New Zealand o the whitewash

Although Bangladesh survived their 50 overs they could only put 236 on the board and it was never enough. Heroes of the 2nd game Neil Broom (97) and Kane Williamson (95) Not Out) ensured New Zealand coasted home. Williamson was unbeaten to be there at the end to seal a 3-0 series whitewash. The two meet in two test later on after a T20 series.
