Eight wickets for Southee as Bangladesh collapse

New Zealand have wrapped up a 2-0 series win with a comfortable 9 Wicket win in Christchurch. Bangladesh batted first posting 289 with Soumya Sarker top scoring on 89, Tim Southee took five wickets and Trent Boult four to ensure a 300 plus score was not on the cards. In reply New Zealand move in front as Henry Nichols fell just short of his century falling on 98 in a total of 354. Bangladesh second innings was a sense of deja vu as they collapsed as they did in the first test being bowled out for just 173 as Southee took three more wickets for a total of eight in the game.Needing just 111 to win, Tom Latham with 41 not out steered New Zealand home for the loss of just one wicket showing yet again how tough to beat the Black Caps are on home soil.
