Premier League – Swansea v Leicester
More misery for Leicester
Champions Leicester City moved closer to the relegation zone after losing 2-0 at fellow strugglers Swansea City. After a slow start to the game Alfie Mawson gave the Swans the lead with a thumping volley. It got worse for Leicester just before half time as Martin Olsson finished off a smart team move to make it 2-0. Islam Slimani had Leicester’s best chance as the Foxes were slightly improved in the second half but have now failed to score in 10 hours of Premier League football. The win moves Swansea away from the bottom three, Leicester are now just one put ahead of Hull City. Leicester may still be in the European Cup and FA Cup, but relegation is looming as a real possibility if they don’t pick up points soon.
